About the federation

The Handball Federation of Split-Dalmatia County brings together the county's clubs and runs their competitions, from mini handball to the senior cup.

What the federation does

The federation organises and runs county competitions, appoints referees and delegates, issues rules and bulletins, and connects clubs with the Croatian Handball Federation. Over a season that is around sixty matches a week across thirty-five active weeks.

The federation was founded on 14 January 1998 in Solin as the legal successor of the Split Handball Federation, founded in 1950.
